Welcome to Myxa. “We recognise that each individual is unique, with their own set of needs. We listen, we understand, and we work closely with all our participants to offer a personally tailored service.
It is our mission to give independence, choice, and control to people with disability, their families, and carers.
With a range of services, including daily living skill plans, supported independent living, positive behavioural support, our essential services and support systems enable and empower people with disability to live independent and fulfilling lives.
The wellbeing of those we support is at the heart of what we do, and our compassionate team are experts in delivering that next level of care we all deserve”.
Gus believes that disability should not be a barrier to leading an enriched and rewarding life, and it is this guiding principle that enables Myxa to empower the people we support.
The entire Myxa team share Gus’s philosophy of there being no such thing as weakness, only strengths that we turn up or turn down, depending on the circumstances people find themselves in. This is the Myxa difference and what sets us apart.
Gus says, “Organisations don’t perform, people do,” and our humane, people-driven outlook has been instrumental in creating a positive, dynamic working culture.
Myxa has experienced extraordinary growth and Gus’s vision is to bring its invaluable support and services to all of Australia, and in future, internationally.
Myxa’s focus is to act as a clear and transparent light to guide participants to a brighter future. We smile when our participants are smiling. Our team is dedicated and passionate – we love achieving the best outcomes for our participants and their families.
We work alongside our participants to determine their unique needs and to identify and tailor the most suitable supports and services. Our team is qualified to deliver a wide range of services to participants with intellectual, psychosocial and physical disabilities. Our services are tailored and we respond to any physical or mental health conditions to help our participants achieve their goals.
