How long have you been a House Supervisor for Myxa? 

I’m doing it since I started, I was hired as a House Supervisor 

Can you explain for me a typical day as a House Supervisor? 

So for the start of the day, we basically have two participants in the house. 

So we have to plan like how we want to schedule the days, we want to make sure that participants are achieving their needs throughout the day, if they have got any activities, we make sure we have got a community access for them, make sure the appointments are aligned, basically doing things that they like to do throughout the day and have a meaningful day. 

What do you love about being a House Supervisor? 

So basically, I love everything about my role. 

So it’s starting with my fabulous participants, I make sure like they are doing something in their daily life which makes me feel motivated that I should go do more, if they achieve more I feel like I’m doing great in my role, making sure everyone’s having the best life. 

Tell us about a time your support made a big difference to a participant? 

So it’s always with this role, I try to go a bit extra all the time. 

It’s more like trying to get the participants trust first. 

And once they are comfortable with you, I’ll make sure that then I can be the part of where they can achieve the things they are here for. 

And we make the difference in that way be ensuring they are working on it. 

So if they are working on it, they are moving towards their goal.
