We implement your plans carefully, communicate early, and provide the data you need.
Therapy and behaviour support plans implemented with consistency. Information shared for reviews. All work delivered under clinical direction — Myxa workers do not make clinical decisions independently.
Myxa is a disability support provider operating across Melbourne, Bendigo, Geelong and Regional Victoria. Our workers implement plans developed by allied health professionals. We support your clinical work through consistent implementation, clear communication, and reliable data.
Support workers receive participant-specific training on your therapy plans, behaviour support plans, mealtime management plans, health management plans, and any other clinical recommendations before commencing support. Training is refreshed when plans are updated. Your plans are documented in the participant's Support Plan and referenced in daily practice.
We communicate early when circumstances change, when incidents occur that affect clinical recommendations, or when we observe something that may be relevant to your reviews. Your point of contact is the SIL Manager or Core Support Manager overseeing the participant's support. We participate in plan reviews and team meetings as needed.
We collect structured data throughout every placement: incident records, behaviour tracking data, health observations, and support delivery information. This data is shared with you in a format that supports your reviews and clinical recommendations. We aim to provide useful, focused information.
All workers delivering High Intensity Daily Personal Activities complete training aligned with the NDIS High Intensity Support Skills Descriptors. Workers implementing behaviour support strategies complete Ethical Response training and participant-specific strategy training. Competency is assessed before support begins and reviewed regularly.
Myxa is registered under NDIS Module 2A with active Authorised Program Officers (APOs). We implement your behaviour support strategies, collect data to inform your reviews, and manage restrictive practice oversight in collaboration with you.
Workers are trained in the specific proactive and reactive strategies from your Behaviour Support Plan before commencing support. Implementation is consistent across all shifts through centralised rostering and structured handover processes.
We collect incident data, behaviour frequency and intensity data, and contextual information that helps you understand what is happening and adjust your strategies accordingly. Data is shared in formats that support your analysis.
Where restrictive practices are authorised, our Authorised Program Officers collaborate with you on oversight, consent, review, and reduction planning. All restrictive practices are implemented only as a last resort and subject to regular review.
We participate in plan reviews, provide implementation feedback, and communicate when we observe changes in behaviour patterns or when strategies are not achieving intended outcomes. We view this as a genuine partnership.
Myxa also provides Positive Behaviour Support as an independent clinical service, delivered by registered Behaviour Support Practitioners. PBS operates under separate clinical governance from our support delivery services. We encourage participants to use different providers for PBS and support implementation where possible. Where both are provided by Myxa, we actively manage the potential conflict of interest with independent oversight and transparent reporting.
Workers follow your clinical recommendations. If a situation arises where your plan cannot be followed as written, we communicate with you before deviating, not after.
If a participant's circumstances change, if a new health concern emerges, or if we observe something relevant to your clinical work, we let you know promptly.
The same Myxa Framework that ensures consistent support delivery also ensures consistent data collection. You receive reliable information, not anecdotal impressions.
Every worker supporting a participant with clinical plans has completed participant-specific training. House Supervisors and SIL Managers provide oversight to ensure plans are followed consistently in daily practice.

Whether you have a participant currently supported by Myxa or you are working with a support coordinator on a new referral, we are here to talk about how we can implement your plans effectively.
